Laura Huntington RDH

Laura Huntington is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from the Cape Cod Community College Dental Hygiene program with honors in 1990. Laura has over 20 years experience in the Dental Profession having been a dental assistant for general, periodontal and surgical practices starting in 1986. After graduating from dental hygiene school she pursued a career in a periodontal practice for 10 years. She then worked in a practice that specialized in implantology where she performed both assisting during implant placement, maintenance care and patient education. Laura is also licensed in local anesthesia and has taken many continuing education courses. She has been part of our staff since the practice started 5 years ago. Laura is passionate about prevention of gum disease and overall general health. She is thorough, but gentle and compassionate. She takes great pride in educating her patients on techniques to prevent disease. Laura is a mother of three and loves to work with children starting at the age of three.

Linnea Allen RDH

Linnea Allen, Registered Dental Hygienist joined our practice in 2009. She lives locally and graduated from Cape Cod Community College with honors. Linnea scored 100% on her clinical licensing board exam and is also licensed to administer local anesthesia. She has worked for many general practice dentists and a community health center. Her focus with all is the treatment and prevention of periodontal (gum) disease, and educating her patients. Linnea prides herself on her ability to provide excellent patient care and her relationships with her patients from the very young to those of advanced age. She is very enthusiastic about her career as a hygienist and stays current with trends in Dental Hygiene through many continuing education courses as well as professional journals and meetings. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association as well as the Massachusetts and Cape Cod Dental Hygienist Associations. Linnea realizes that some patients are apprehensive about visiting the dentist and hygienist. Her technique reflects her desire to keep her patients comfortable during their visits while providing thorough, comprehensive treatment.
